| It wasn't unusual to see Philadelphia covered in snow in the days of my youth. I fondly remember
the years we were happy to get snow storms that gave us foot after foot of snow. Do you remember
the days when there was sufficient snow to actually build a snowman? Did you ever build a snow fort
or an igloo? But, now that humankind has decided to model itself after cockroaches, and travel in
the thick exoskeletons of SUV's with monstrous V8's spewing incredible amounts of carbon dioxide
into the thin shield of atmosphere that covers us, to pollute us into oblivion, the days of a snow
covered Philadelphia are extraordinarily rare. So enjoy them. |
